   About Xinia

DSC_3746.jpg

Xinia has found herself to be an absolute mind and body nerd.

Over the past 15 years she has had extensive experience in the fields of dance, yoga, pilates, and performance coaching.

She has had a steady yoga practice since 2006 and is continuously studying the practice.

She visits India regularly to study in Mysore with Ashtanga Guru Sharath Rangaswarmy, at the Ashtanga Yoga Institute and in 2017 received her blessing to teach the Ashtanga method: Authorisation level 2. She has become dedicated to learning and sharing the practice and committed to keep the ancient traditions alive in today’s modern world.

In 2010 she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dance from AUT University. Here is where she started to learn applied anatomy through movement. She has performed and choreographed in many festivals and companies around the world and formed her own dance collective: Trip Stumble Fall Productions in New Zealand.

In 2014 Xinia completed a Diploma in Yoga from the Wellpark Natural Therapies Collage in New Zealand. This integrated more Hatha yoga and therapy practices into her teachings and personal practice.

Her work has allowed her to teach internationally in Australia, Bali, Egypt, Singapore, Sri Lanka, The Netherlands, Turkey and New Zealand. She has acquired an E-RTY500 teachers status and is a registered Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider. In 2023 she completed the level 1 Rocket Yoga YTT.

She loves how every body is unique and each soul comes to the practice of yoga a little differently than the last.

New Zealand

300hr with YogaKoh at The Farm

October 6th - November 3rd 2024

This 300hr is designed for you to take a deep dive into specific areas of interest to further educate and inform the teacher within that you want to develop, and lead with confidence as you embark into the next stage of your teaching. We believe the role of a well educated and passionate yoga teacher can make a large impact on the overall health and wellness of our communities which is why this program is designed for individuals who want to lay the foundations of a career in this incredible industry.

This majority of this training will be accomplished in the one month we spend together, where you will find your days moving between practice, lectures, teaching, and study.  The training will also require the completion of Pre and Post training assignments, and the development of a final project that will be presented at the end of the month.

Our trainings will always combine the importance of tradition with the beauty of creativity and the support of modern science. Your experienced teachers are hands on and 100% invested in your success. We hope to give your teaching and practice a new found authority.

Trust yourself to take the trip, walk through the hillside in the late afternoon, ride a horse, surf, meet likeminded individuals and spend time with the person you are now. You will see for yourself why the New Zealand way of living will make an everlasting impact on you and your practice!

More info and application form on the Yoga Koh site.
